A SLG member can recommend an individual who thinks they embrace the principles of SLG. This process allows members to help SLG recruit quality members who are dedicated to the Sorority for a lifetime. Check out the basic requirements here.

Legacy

Sigma Lambda Gamma defines a legacy as someone who is a biological or legal relative of a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma. An Amethyst Legacy is defined as the biological daughter, adopted daughter, step-daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter of an initiated member (alive or deceased) of any Sigma Lambda Gamma chapter.

Entities are encouraged, but not required, to entertain a legacy’s interest in joining.
