It’s more than a tagline. It’s the total experience you have when you see or hear “Sigma Lambda Gamma.” Our new brand launched on September 1st, 2021 and is truly authentic to who we are. It’s the simplest expression of what SLG stands for. Elements like our majestic purple and shocking pink colors, the panther, and our shield will never change – but our brand, and how we position ourselves will always evolve.

To help create this rebrand, SLG HQ partnered with Gamma’s who are professionals within the marketing and branding community. They utilized the research done during the “Who We Are” initiative, asking our members, reviewing our archives, and researched other women’s groups in their quest to reshape our brand. They were also able to work on creating messaging and visuals for us to share with you all. This new brand helps set us apart in today’s era fraternal organizations.

All of the research boils down to this statement that defines what sets us apart:

SLG exists as a multicultural sorority composed of a group of diverse individuals. We are passionate about our organization and committed to empowering ourselves and others. We put our all into everything that we do. We are accepting and supportive to people of all identities. We are determined to not just succeed academically but within the community as well. Gammas are continuously trying to improve ourselves and the world around us.
