The criteria for creating an Alumni Association are as follows:
A minimum of 5 members of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. must be assembled to become chartered.
Each petitioning Alumni Association must also submit the following:
- Each petitioning member must have an individual account on Greektrack with current contact Information
- Entity Bank Account
- Official Email
- A name for the Association
- Alumni Associations are named by geographical area (i.e. Chicago Metropolitan, or District of Columbia Metropolitan)
- A one-time Chartering Fee of $350.00
- Bylaws for the Alumni Association
Why Should I Join an Alumni Association?
Sigma Lambda Gamma is a life-long commitment and it gets even better after graduation!
By joining an Alumni Association alumni can come together and further the work of the sorority by voting for national leadership and policy proposals, host Graduate New Member Intake, create local social events for Gammas in their area, and volunteer with local agencies in their communities. The largest benefit of an Alumni Association is community and connection with other Gammas who have completed their collegiate studies.
If you have any questions about how to create or join an Alumni Association, please reach out to Brianna Peral at email@example.com for more information on how to get started.
